COFFEE - BARBECUE BEEF RIBS & COFFEE - BUTTERED CORN


Ingredients:

1/4 cup grated onions
2 tbsp grated garlic
2 tbsp grated celery
1/8 tsp dried rosemary
2 tbsp olive oil
1 kg MONTEREY BEEF SHORT RIBS, cut into 6 serving pieces
1/2 cup lime soda
1 sachet SAN MIG SUPER 3-in-1 COFFEE
3 tbsp store-bought hickory barbecue sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tbsp iodized fine salt
1/4 tsp pepper
6 pc Japanese sweet corn, boiled with husk
1/2 cup finely grated MAGNOLIA CHEEZEE

Coffee butter:

1/2 cup MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER, softened
1/8 tsp pepper
1 cup SAN MIG WHITE 3-in-1 COFFEE

Procedure:

1.   Preheat oven to 350°F. 2.  In a pan, sauté onions, garlic, celery and rosemary in olive oil for a minute. Sear beef ribs. Add soda, coffee, barbecue sauce, sugar, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. 3.  Transfer to an oven-proof baking dish and cover with foil. 4.   Bake for 1 hour or until fork tender. Serve with vegetables and corn. 5.  Coffee Butter: Mix butter, pepper and coffee. Brush all over corn; then roll corn in grated cheese.   Makes 6 servings.
