CHICKEN HOTDOG SANDWICH WITH MALUNGGAY PESTO SAUCE


Ingredients:

1 (250g) pack PUREFOODS TENDER JUICY CHICK 'N CHEESE HOTDOG
6 pc mini baguette or hotdog buns

Pesto

1/4 cup malunggay leaves, washed and pat-dried
3/4 cup olive oil
2 tsp minced garlic
2 tbsp cashew nuts
3 tbsp Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp iodized fine salt
pinch white pepper

Procedure:

  1. Combine all pesto ingredients in a food processor. Puree until smooth. Adjust seasoning according to taste.
  2. Cook hotdogs with some water over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes. Put in buns then drizzle with malunggay pesto.

Makes 6 servings.
