CAULIFLOWER BACON SOUP


Ingredients:

3 pc PUREFOODS CLASSIC HONEYCURED BACON, chopped
1 pc onion, chopped
1/2 pc large cauliflower, cut into florets
4 cups water
2 pc chicken bouillon cubes, crumbled
1/4 cup MAGNOLIA ALL-PURPOSE CREAM
2 tbsp chopped parsley

Procedure:

  1. Sauté bacon and onion in a saucepan until onion is tender. Add cauliflower, water and bouillon cubes. Bring to a boil. Let simmer for 20 minutes or until cauliflower is tender.
  2. Blend mixture or mash cauliflower and pass through a sieve until smooth. Return to heat, bring to a boil then add cream and parsley. Serve hot.
Makes 4 servings.
