Baby Octo Dogs

Procedure:

  1. In a bowl mix pancake, egg and water according to package directions. Set aside.
  2. Slice one end of the hot dog into 8 slits and about 1 inch long to represent tentacles. Repeat with the rest of the hotdog.
  3. Insert barbecue stick in the middle part of the tentacles. Dip the other,  end (, without slits) into pancake batter.
  4. Fry in pre- heated oil . Drain on paper towels.

Makes 8 servings.
